Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and Frame for using the app. They're written to be read. The one part to read carefully is the training-safety section — Frame is a journal, not a coach, and it can't keep you safe on the mat.
1. Who you're dealing with, and accepting these terms
Frame is made and published by cybercyber ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. "We", "us" and "our" mean cybercyber ltd throughout these terms. You can reach us at hello@cybercyber.ai.
By downloading or using Frame, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. If you're under 18, you may only use Frame with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
2. Your licence to use Frame
Frame grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own training, in line with Apple's standard App Store licence terms (which apply in addition to these terms). You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the app except as the law allows.
3. Your content is yours
The sessions, notes and technique data you put into Frame belong to you. We don't claim ownership of them, and — as described in the Privacy Policy — we don't receive them on a server. You're responsible for what you record, and for keeping your own device and iCloud account secure.
4. Price
Frame is free. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no adverts — the app contains no way to pay us for anything, so we never handle or store payment details of any kind.
Some advanced features are planned to arrive as part of Granite, a separate app with its own terms and pricing. Frame's core — logging, recall and your progress — stays free. If we ever introduce a paid tier in Frame itself, we will update these terms before it ships.
5. Training safety — read this
Frame is a training journal and reference tool. It is not a coach, a medical device, or a source of professional instruction, and it does not assess your technique or your safety. Brazilian jiu-jitsu and other grappling arts carry a real risk of injury.
- Nothing in Frame — including technique descriptions, the catalogue, recall drills, or any suggestion the app makes — is training, medical, or safety advice.
- Always train under a qualified instructor, tap early and often, and stop if something hurts.
- Consult a doctor before starting or changing a training programme, and after any injury.
- You train at your own risk, and you're responsible for your own safety and your training partners'.
6. Acceptable use
Please don't use Frame to break the law, to store content you don't have the right to store, or to interfere with the app's security or operation. That's about it.
7. Our intellectual property
The Frame app, name, brand, design, and the technique catalogue we've written are owned by cybercyber ltd and protected by law. These terms don't give you any right to them beyond using the app as intended.
8. No warranty
Frame is provided "as is" and "as available". While we work hard to keep it correct and reliable, we don't warrant that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will fit any particular purpose. Your logs live on your device and your iCloud — keep your own backups of anything you can't afford to lose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Frame and its maker are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any injury, arising from your use of the app or your training. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud). Where our liability can't be excluded but can be limited, it's limited to the amount you paid us for Frame in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using Frame and delete it at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive — ownership, disclaimers, and liability — continue after you stop using the app.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app evolves. We'll change the date at the top when we do, and material changes will be reflected here before they take effect. Continuing to use Frame after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales — without affecting any consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
